Light Drawing Task

In today’s session, we were given a still life set up of red objects with a light shining on them. We were then asked to draw these using a charcoal and a rubber. The reason this was useful as it allowed us to see how light hit different objects.

I found this quite difficult as I prefer to draw still lift with a pencil as I find it easier to create the different tones to reflect where the light is hitting. I think this task was useful as it allowed us to see light differently.
